I had to Share another Thankful Thursday Post!
Here’s our oldest this week directing teen camp at Lakeside Bible Camp. This camp was sold out and they had to turn some teens away…

The “Go For” Julie, The directors Josh and Lucy

The Worship Leader Jamie!
The kids have a great speaker to lead them in Bible Study. Cooks to make sure they don’t starve. Cabin Leaders to make sure they get at least an hour of sleep. Camp Directors to oversee the work. We’re so thankful that you all choose to serve the Lord by serving these kids that God loves with your leadership, guidance, love and time. I’m thanking God right now for each of you. May God bless you all richly…

I can tell you this post means a lot to me! I grew up going to camp, I worked as a counselor at camp—from kitchen clean up—to camp “band-aid putter-onner”—we now LIVE on a campground for youth camps and such as caretakers for our denomination—actually my husband is the caretaker–maintenance supervisor…general everything man (I work for a law firm these days and just help him out occasionally) but I love the memories and the feel of camp!
The pictures were awesome! I loved seeing teens loving and worshipping the Lord!!!Thanks for sharing that too!
Hi Angie, It was my pleasure to share. Blessings on you…
Yes!! Thank the Lord for these young people who have the desire to impact lives for God. Amen, sister!
Hi Tami, Blessings on you…
Ohhh! Isn’t my husband amazing?!! I love these pictures! It was so fun to visit camp on Monday and see all of them in action. Praise God for such a beautiful place to minister to these teens.
Laura, Your husband is amazing
and I’m not saying that just cuz I’m his mother!
I was a camp — church camp — kid myself. So many memories and moments when God revealed him grace to me. Thanks for sharing pics and thoughts!
Thanks for the diaper cake compliment.
Come back and visit my blog any time. I would really like to make some real connections with Godly women interested in blogs.
Southern Bell, I had to send my sisters and nieces the link to see that diaper cake of yours…you should see a few hits there today! blessings…
Really enjoyed this thankful list, bless you.
This is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing. My son went to church camp for the first time this year and enjoyed it. I loved hearing about other’s experiences.
Loved the comments by Laura and you
Doesn’t it just make your heart sing to see your offspring serve the Lord! Blessings to you, your oldest and his wife.

Great photos and story to accompany them. Those kids look like they had more fun that I did this week! Good for them!
