Very interesting! I really enjoyed reading this along with the lovely pictures. That flower is just beautiful! I remember exactly where I was the day Mount St. Helen’s blew. The ash made it all the way up into Alberta, Canada. It was awful.
An interesting collection of facts. I’ve not visited the States, but when I do, Washington state will be one of my destinations. One of my friends visited Seattle a few years ago. He couldn’t understand why the waiter who served him lunch at his Seattle hotel, fell around laughing when asked the following question: “if I drive out to Washington DC this afternoon, and spend a couple of hours there, will I be able to make it home in time for dinner?”
That is an Awesome list.
thanks for sharing… I hope you get home soon.
thanks for visiting my blog.
