Here’s my tip for those of us that have put on a few and still want to wear something we’ll be comfortable in for the holidays..
SPANX® Higher Power
Higher Power slims, smoothes and shapes the figure from the lower thighs up through the midriff, with the incredible SPANX® comfort and control that women love.
- Soft, nonbinding waistband.
- ‘No leg band’ bottom hem.
- Cotton double gusset opens between legs.
- Nylon/Lycra® spandex; hand wash.
- By SPANX®; made in the USA.

Don’t you think it’s hilarious how they have skinny girls who don’t need one of these to model them?
You can order these from the Nordstrom Website for $34.00
Enjoy your holiday dress up!

My thought exactly. Skinny model for the flab buster.
I thought that was a picture of you!
(and I don’t look like that but I need one of those so that I will!)
Yep, I’m sorry, but I won’t believe that it works until I see it modeled on someone who needs it.
Volunteers, anyone?
*Takes a step backwards*
Bodies like that ought to be outlawed. I’m sure this one’s Photoshopped.
Loved your WW shot, BTW. It’s wintry-miserable here, too, but you managed to capture just a little bit of light amidst the murk. Cool!
Hope you have a wonderful WW. I’ve posted my contribution here and hope you drop by for a look around:

All the best…

Didn’t these used to be called girdles?
Kathy B is so right on….but girdles —heck I remember the girdles with nylon holders! Guess that ages ME now, doesn’t it? But I must admit…I LOOK JUST LIKE the model!! [roflmao ----------not!!!!]
I wanna look like that! Can it make me look like that, cause then I’ll get two. :v)
Oh, I love Spanx! Even medium-sized girls can use some smoothing.
Make sure you buy the right size, though — if they’re too small, the edges at the legs squeeze too hard and leave a tell-tale line.
Thanks for the reminder — I need to pull my pair out of my unmentionables drawer!
Well, I am quite er…. plump (think Weeble-esque, lol) and I LOVE these things. Although I do agree with Mandy Houk… make sure you get the right size!
If only we could all be “Photoshopped” so we look like that in real life! Hmmmmm. I’d get a pair, but being as tall as I am, those things never fit me properly anyway; believe me, I’ve tried! It’s hopeless.
The model can use a filling here and there to give us an impression how it will fit us.. normal women.
I guess it feels good.
