
We just flew in to Los Angeles last night and our heads hit the pillow after 10:00. My Monday morning weigh-in kind of shocked me because I’m finally seeing the next group of numbers I wanted to see. Whoohoo! So from last monday to this monday the scale says I lost 3.2 pounds!! Last Monday I had gained a pound. From when we began I have lost 8 pounds.

My house in Washington has 3 stories and I naturally take a lot more steps than in my compact one bedroom, one story California condo. I also do 2 hour walks with my friends in Washington that really boost my steps. I hope to be able to maintain this loss and keep on eating sensibly and keep on adding up the steps. The big key for me is the not eating after 6:00 PM. This has always been the snack, snack, snack time of day for me.

What do you think made the difference? Was it just a plateau or did you change something?
For myself, I think I need to be content with the progress I’ve made so far but still keep goals to do better.

Congratulations on your loss! D just said, “I think we should start counting points…” (???!!!) So I’ve made the famous vegetable soup and we’re on our way!
