gorgeous shot!
Great one! Happy WW on Tuesday
Beutiful picture!
That’s a work of art. Cemeteries do offer wonderful sculpture!
great one for WW! mine’s up too…
Interesting shot. Makes me wonder what she is reaching for. I also like the little floral detail.
I think it looks like the angel is climbing. Notice, no wings, otherwise it would fly up instead.

A marvelous sculpture, ellen! An unusual angle! She appears to be climbing!
Great shot!

Beautiful, Ellen ~ you are a great photographer!
I love to marvel at sculpture. Thanks for this.
Beautiful photo! Happy WW
very nice shot
happy ww
Hi Ellen — Happy WW/WT! I remember Venice, it is a nice little town. I especially remember the beach, the vendors behind the beach, and a 1960s Chevy Nova in a used car lot.
This niece sure is cute, she may not be as cute as your daughter.
I hope you enjoyed your stay in Texas. We live on down I-45, exit 91 or 92 or so, in the hills 45 miles north of downtown Houston. Next time you guys could stay with us, we have a nice guest room.
I’ll check for your Texas pictures. We aren’t real fond of Dallas, it is a hard city to get around in.
Thanks for the wish on the “Little Blog.” It has been around two years and a half so 1000 isn’t going to set a record, but it has kept me busy.
..
The shrimp boil was last Saturday night. About 70 of us from Mrs. Jim’s Sunday school class and guests were there in our friend’s back yard.
You’d a’ been invited if we knew you were here!
..
Cemetery sounds scary but this picture is so serene.
Is it a fear of falling or of letting go?
Great catch, Happy WW!
Great shot. I love the perspective. Happy WT/WW
wow … this shot speaks volumes!
What a lovely shot… STUNNING!
Cool shot, ours is up as well at burntofferings and more at bernies fotoblog.
Have a great WW!!
@strider, I guess it’s more of the fear of letting go..
nice shot (beautiful actually)!
Happy WW
Great use of colour!
Beautifully captive.Love the serenity of it.
Happy WW.

Lovely picture, great shot!

It’s gorgeous!!
What a beautiful photo. Really does give a sense of serenity. I like the angle of the shot.

Good shot and great observation!!
Happy WW!
what is she doing…?
why so much beauty in a cemetery I wonder?
They are often so well manicured, too.
I love cemetery pictures. I don’t know why, but I do. This one is just great.
Here is my WW post for today.
Have a great WW day!
A peaceful picture .. like she is determinedly climbing Heaven wards !
I enjoy reading headstones in older cemetaries. Nowadays, cemetaries are neat rows of tiny plastic flower vases.
Is she climbing up or possiby escaping the cemetary? Hmm.
happy ww!
Wonderful photos and what a moving Bible verse.
Have a great week, Ellen
Nice photo – well done.
Is it in city of Ventura? I know Ventura County fairly well, but not the town.
Lovely!
I like this angle also! It feels totally different than the other.
Happy WW
Interesting use of angles. I like both shots.
Great photo. I can’t decide if she is hanging on for dear life or trying to climb there faster.
Interesting shot. I can feel the determination on her face.
Wow, really cool pic!
