I just had to share the lyrics here too…
In the town where I was born,
Lived a man who sailed to sea,
And he told us of his life,
In the land of submarines,
So we sailed on to the sun,
Till we found the sea of green,
And we lived beneath the waves,
In our yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.
All our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door,
And the band begins to play.
As we live a life of ease
Every one of us is all we need,
Sky of blue, and sea of green,
in our yellow submarine. ( Hahaha! )
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.
Hi Ellen,
Can’t wait to see your new finds. Is there a condo next door that you could buy and knock the wall out? Hee Hee!
See you sometime tomorrow.
XO Cori
Yellow yes in deed! I don’t think I could live in a submarine, yellow or not :+)
Great shot for wordless wednesday and I’m glad you gave us the lyrics. I sat here and sang the whole thing through. My daughter laughs at me because I can always recall melodies but not lyrics and I’ll sing a tune adding in my own words for the missing ones. You saved me that by giving us the lyrics.
Hi Ellen, I like your Yellow Submarine! A whole lot! Thank you for finding it for us. Happy WW too.
I like the song too, I am old enough to remember singing along when it came out. At that time there were talks of not a real submarine at all, but rather a psychedelic world caused by a weed that makes people see lots of colors.
Lucy In The Sky-LSD; Yellow Submarine-drugs; Happiness is A Warm Gun-drugs; Helter Skelter-Charles Manson thinks it says to kill; etc.
Oh well, I liked it literally whether or not there are hidden meanings. Someday I hope to see the movie too.
..
Ah, this is a familiar sight! Right at my own back door (more or less)…
Great shot and a fun way to get about I hope! Happy WT/WW
HAHAHA – what a fun post this is! I would love to see in the interior of the yellow submarine!
Favorite song ever. And the shot is ab fab!

Best song ever! And this photo is fabulous! well done, you.
That is such a cool shot! And thanks for posting the lyrics
Love that shot of the yellow submarine, and with the lyrics, man oh man (as my grandson would say)!
I am not going to read the words to the song or I will have it in my head for hours! Love the photo
That’s a nice submarine that we all live in! God bless, Ellen
well if we all have to live in it, at least it is a nice looking sub.. What a great photo.
Happy WW
Interesting, must be a new attraction isn’t it?
Beautiful shot! The colors pop so well!
Wonderfully fun photo … and including the lyrics was ‘kewl’ too ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
As a child, the yellow sub was my most favorite ride in all of Disneyland. I was so sad when it was closed. Just this past January, I took the grandkids there and we rode the newly opened sub ride, Nemo. It was such a great joy to share that moment with my grand-daughter.
Thanks for the reminder of a wonderful day.
See, that’s what I need, now that I’m getting old. I wonder if I could still take underwater pics through its viewing ports.
There’s a lake behind my house. It is man-made for water management. There are these big signs about no swimming, no fishing, no putting things into the lake. Don’t you know, people are ALWAYS putting in their remote control boats to take ‘em for a spin!
