I just called Dear at work to warn him that I’m experimenting for dinner. I always like to warn him ahead of time just in case it’s one big flop! I’m using these basic ingredients and then throwing in something very unconventional. I’ll let you know what happens and what the mystery ingredient is tomorrow.

Experimenting’s great! If it doesn’t turn out, you shrug and say, well, it’s only an experiment. No fault cooking!
I think all loos wonderful – I’m on my way!
Mmmm. Anything with basil has GOT to be good!
I can’t wait until spring and my herb garden comes back to life. We’re still eating pesto I made last fall, but by the time spring comes and I have basil growing in the garden, it’ll all be gone. .
Sounds wonderful with just those three….anticipation..you know how to keep us going.
Ellen, I am glad to hear that you had a successful “experiment”. Somehow, I doubt anything you’ve made is ever nasty-tasting!
