Too Good Not to Share Again…
January 12, 2010 by Ellen

Since this might be a time of year to get in the doldrums and have a let down after Christmas, I decided it would be good to share a G.K. Chesterton quote again today and here’s the one that I enjoyed the most from a list John Piper shared…
“Man is more himself, man is more manlike, when joy is the fundamental thing in him, and grief the superficial. Melancholy should be an innocent interlude, a tender and fugitive frame of mind; praise should be the permanent pulsation of the soul. Pessimism is at best an emotional half-holiday; joy is the uproarious labor by which all things live.”
Enjoy and choose Joy and Praise God and encourage someone with a kind word today!!

A great quote Ellen – it’s also in this article (HT Ann V) – http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2009/december/8.53.html?start=2
A theme for the year perhaps?
