Beware! I’m ranting…

This is no joking matter. I’m tired of the phone calls and all the garbage flying around. To the powers that be, I’m not an enemy of the Hispanics in our country or of any law abiding citizen no matter what race they are because I disagree with you. I can think for myself and if I disagree with your “idealism” it’s not because I’m uneducated or stupid. And because I believe in God and love God and own a gun doesn’t mean I’m afraid. For the record I’m tired of all the rhetoric not just the liberal or conservative or middle of the road. My ballot is in and I hope some of the people I voted for win.
Thank you so much for letting me vent. Soon…very soon the intensity of all this campaigning will be over and we’ll get a short break until the time to campaign for 2012 begins!
God bless America!

AMEN! We’re anticipating the next “change” to bring some “hope” back to the country. Our state has a really NASTY Senatorial race…..don’t like any of them. I pushed stop on my answering machine so many times yesterday that I totally erased it and must now reset the whole thing…I think I shall unplug it until Tues. is over. Between the media and the politicians….BAH… thankful God is still on the throne…praying for the ones He wants in….turn us around God…turn us around.
I’m voting for you.
I took great pleasure in casting my ballot this election. It is my message to our narcissistic politicians. Maybe when THEY are out of a job it will become important to them to stimulate our economy and create some jobs. Or maybe there is some shovel-ready job just waiting for them…So I’m looking forward to the election; and hoping for some kind of real change too.
Because we live so close to the border – actually below the 49th parallel on this island!….we get all the campaign messages on TV. Too bad your little rant couldn’t have been on too!
“I can think for myself ” — that has got to be the best quote in this entire election season. Your rant is most apt.
Awesome blog, Ellen – even the poster, it is right on! I don’t think the midwest is as cut-throat nasty as the west coast. Michigan is so off the unemployment chart, we’ll take any change…and I sure hope we get plenty of it ;-/
Amen sister!
Amen!
Well said.
Why Ellen B, that was no rant at all, just the echo of many of our sentiments in this once great country. I often wonder what our fore-fathers would think.
Love the attitude of the poster!!!!
