Seattle does have some amazing skies. I spent two months there way back in 1978. I was always amazed by the different views of the mountains - one day a floating island, one day a huge monolith and some days seemingly not there at all. And those wonderful long twilights. This is a beautiful photo with just that hint of color between the two darknesses.

It’s always interesting to see what the sky is like in another place. I’m blessed with a big blue sky here in Alberta…but sometimes it gets moody too, just like your photo. Also Ellen, I need your help in identifying some flowers and other natural creatures I see here, I’m sure it’ll be easy for you…when you have time.
