What a beautiful shot! I love the ocean and the waves. We would visit Myrtle Beach on occasion, seems like a lifetime ago, and I just loved sitting on the beach all day and into the evening. Just fascinating and wonderful and oh so powerful. We live in the mountains now, and while they offer so much wonderment, I can’t help but miss our trips to the beach. Thanks for posting this picture. It’s very nice.

Yes I did take this photo this past Saturday.
Yes you can surf here a little farther north and farther south from this exact spot because the shore right here is very rocky (big rocks the would damage boards and bodies)
And I agree it looks scary, like an animal or big hand is coming out of that wave to devour!
The spray was amazing and I was hoping to catch it….
OMG! This is too awesome! It would be too dangerous to swim but I like the sudden huge wave of water on me.

We love going to the beach, it feels soothing. It is another story though when the waves are quite strong, it can be dangerous.
