Welcome to another Tablescape Thursday. Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is the hostess for this weekly event. Click on over to see lots of pretty tables around Bloggyworld.
Since most of my tables are very thrifty I’m adding this post to Thrifty Thursday with Leigh at Tales from Bloggeritaville.
I had my new thrift store aqua blue tablecloth on the table for my scape last week I decided to change it up and throw in some red.
The old roosters are from Dear’s mother. The red martini glasses are from Target clearance. I enjoy a martini from time to time but I also like to use these glasses for serving dessert. The red patterned plates are from tj maxx and the top salad/dessert plates (Warren Kimble) are from Goodwill as is the candle holder with red dangling crystals.
The napkins are from a thrift store on Main St. in Ventura and the napkin rings are, too. The napkin rings are pear shaped.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Now this is my style! I love red and old houses and everything you have on that table. Looks like a magazine published it.

Those roosters are a hoot…what a fun table.
Being a “red” person, I find the table decor just about the best one I’ve seen!! And…it’s Goodwill again! You must be like a Hawk when you fly into the store!!
Baby Crows….I’ve never seen one but there is always a first time! They didn’t build the nest as high as I would have thought, I crow when walking by it..and so far nothing has jumped up! My camera must always be ready!!
That is my most favorite ever of all the tablescapes you have posted. I love those plates with the farm houses on them. I love the entire thing!
Cute plates.
Joyce
I love your salad plates!! They look like a Warren Kimble design… very Americana/Folk art-ish. I love it! 🙂
You’ve gotta love that red, and your roosters are such handsome devils. Love the vibrant colors. Cheers to your martini glasses, they look terrific with your napkins.

Hello Ellen!
I love the Martini glasses! Another martini lover here. I cannot believe you could find fabulous items as Goodwill. I have never had such luck there. I’ll have to pay another visit soon. Mother’s roosters make the table. Thank you for the inspiration and the kind words.

Which artist painted the school house and the houses on the salad plates? They look “Wysocki-ish” to me.

Oh I am crazy about roosters and farm houses are my favorite. I always wanted to buy an old barn and turn it into a house, or at least a wonderful old house. I love the plates, they are so pretty. Just a gorgeous tablescape. BTW, we are having a “Cloche Party” on June 19th, check out my blog for details. I hope you will join in on all the fun. Hugs, Marty
