Last week my niece and I stopped at the Cranberry Cottage in Bothell. This shop is in an old rickety farmhouse and has so much charm. There is a combination of new and old merchandise to purchase.
This fun vintage trailer was in the front yard of the Cottage. The rest of my window views are from inside of this little trailer.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

OH MY GOODNESS! I saw one of ruffled saucers (on the table inside the trailer) at the thrift store just yesterday… it was all by its lonely self and I carried it round and round the store for half an hour before deciding I’d never use it, so couldn’t justify the purchase and put it back on the shelf. What a pleasure to see the rest of the set…. they are pretty close to the most adorable dishes I’ve ever seen in my life. Do you happen to know the maker or line or anything?

What a wonderful little place! Oh, I loved all the Moroccan bridal shower photos. I didn’t comment cuz I was traveling but I’d look at the posts and photos and ohh and ahh! Magnificent. I want to sleep in the Morocan tent!

On the subject of lavender — don’t worry if you don’t ‘make it’ there for the festival. I think you’ll have a much better time with the ‘no crowd’ version of a trip to Sequim. A week or two later is just fine — and the lavender will still be great!
Here’s a suggestion — check online and identify all the lavender farms in the area, then set your GPS according to the order you want to take (one that talks to you) and then go visit and have fun! Timing your visit to Cedarbrook Lavender and Herb Farm at lunchtime would be so desirable! Check out: http://www.cedarbrookgardencafe.com/
